The Mac-Killer i dont think so, dell has just realeased a product to compete entirely with apples macbook air, the dell Adamo.

The Adamo is boasting some of the key features a Mac-Book air does however it falls short in just about every way.  Both are forged from one piece of aluminum, have scalloped backlit keyboard, an edge-to-edge glass display, and a choice of colors.

This may sound great but the Adamo just does not have the meat and two vegetables to keep up.  The adamo fronts a a 1.4-GHz Core 2 Duo SU9400 chip, which is still short of the Mac-Book Air.

The funny thing is this Adamo retails for $200 more than the Air, is it just me or is there something wrong with that….. and underpowered machine for more of my hard earned cash.

all i have to say is Naaaa, think i will stick with good old Apple!

On another note this weeks lecture for NMP was one of the coolest ive been to.  im rather partial to colourful, techy, creative and outthere things, so getting to see some unreal API’s and mashups was real treat!

I also enjoyed this weeks tutorial, yahoo pipes is awesom and i would never had known it existed.  I would love to know how to take a pipe and make it a content rich mini website, then i could show people what i think is cool!

I think that for the NMP project A i will probably go with the online exhibition, i just want to find a site that i can host it on that really suites my style.  The main thing is it just cant be boring or i will tire of it quickly.

so yeah for now everything is great in samland…. until next time!
